I feel like I have seen this before; animating static objects.
I would like to know if I can animate a part to float and whatnot, I can easily just script it but it would be a lot easier to do more complex things if I can use the animation editor.
Any responses will be appreciated, thanks!

Motor6D’s are the way to go for this situation.
Alright, I will look into it.
Not too sure how to use them but I will try to figure it out
I mean you can rig it, but motor6D would probs be easier.

Motor6D’s are the way roblox arms and legs etc are held together, it makes it where you can animate something.
What if it’s just a single part?

You can motor6d it to another invisible one and animate from there
Alright, would I animate it using the Roblox animation editor?

Any animation editor would work.
Alright, thank you.
I will try it out.
Does it require a humanoid?
