Basically, I’m wondering if this has been done at all before so I can take a look, I want to make it so when a particular item is used, a sort of shimmer effect appears on the roblox avatar. I’ll show examples here:

I don’t think you can, nothing at Roblox provides that feature. Although, you can try making a spritesheet and play that in an image label.

Are you trying to create chromatic aberration on the character on the use of the item? (you can look up chromatic aberration by the way)

This can be achieved by creating semi-transparent, neon parts at a certain offset around the player.
