Is it possible to grant audio permissions to an experience you don't own?

Hi,

I haven’t found anything in Roblox’s official pages on the matter, so I was wondering if it is possible to grant audio permissions to an experience I don’t own.

It seems to let you add any experience, including ones you don’t own into the “Experiences with access” part of the configure page for an audio. However, when I add an experience that is not owned directly by myself, it will add to the list, but will not actually grant it permissions. Take this for example:

As you can see, I added the game “Welcome to Bloxburg” to the experiences with access section with no troubles, and saved the audio configuration as such with no issues. In that game, however, the audio refuses to work. This is true for other games as well. But for a game I own, such as the second one in the list there, the audio plays fine.

So based on this, it appears that one can’t give an experience you don’t own access to an audio. Roblox doesn’t tell you this anywhere, however, so I wasn’t sure, and wanted to know if anyone else has come across this or knows what exactly their policy is.

Roblox recently broke this feature so create a bug report since they didn’t fix this yet.

Several months ago, this was possible, but they seemed to remove it internally.

I can’t create bug reports. So nothing I can do.

Actually, I found out this was intended behavior. You can only add audio to experiences you own.
