I tried to do this yet was unable to get it to work I was wounding if any one was able to figure out how add an accessory at attaches to you feet.
Probably placing the object/mesh in the StarterCharacter or something.
Yes, you just have to create an attachment that connects the accessory to the foot, in the same way hat accessories attach to a character’s head.
You could also do this in a very easy way by inserting a premade accessory (that seems to attach to your feet) from Roblox’s category and switching out the accessory mesh for your own mesh.
Yes, indeed, however its pointless to reinvent the wheel, so I’d suggest taking a roblox hat move all the components excluding the mesh to your new accessory.
Steps from there:
1.) First you’ll need to change the attachment point of the hat, from whatever body part its set, to your leg.
To do this go to the accessories weld and change the attachment (In this case Part1) which is not your hat part to your leg. (Most hats will be the head.)
2.) Move it around on the leg to your preferred position, which is done using the mesh’s offset property
At this point its up to you what goes into the offset property, its a matter of trial and error until you get it how you want it.
NOTE:
Its way easier to use a single mesh instead of multiple parts, as otherwise you’re going to need to individually position each part in the accessory.
Hope this helps
