Would it cause too much lag?
How would it be possible? What are the limitations of roblox code?
It sounds like a very successful game idea. How would it be created?
I love AoE! Played as a kid and have AoE 2 HD, AoE 3, and AoM, on Steam – an awesome game!
The limitations depend on what you’re trying to do. Think about the way players will build their structures – will the game be GUI based, or will the structures be built through the environment, will players be visible or not on the map of the game (think The Conquerors for example).
If I were to create a game like this I’d have to study the AoE game and get a good feeling for gameplay, strategy, and how would new players be enveloped into the game. Once I do that I can make decisions such as how structures would be formed, clans, etc.
In a word, you have to do your research – the more you do the easier it will get to brainstorm on what to do for your game.
