Is it possible to remove the 'wobble' when moving a model onto a sloped surface?

My models have recently started wobbling whenever I move them onto a sloped surface. This is especially annoying with terrain as I tend to add quite a few lumps/hills around a map to avoid a bland look, but it’s gotten harder to place models such as lamps (see example) when they wobble when placed on the mounds of terrain. Is there a way I can switch to the second image, allowing me to better place objects on sloped surfaces?
Thanks!

This happens when the object is hanging like a pendulum. To avoid this issue, you need to “perfectly” align the model straight down on the global Y-axis. Otherwise, try alternate solutions that allow to stabilize the lantern which are more physics-based.

Edit: Looks like I’ve mistaken, the new draggers have changed its behavior since its updates. Today, they angle itself accordingly to normal.

Pretty sure you just disable join surfaces.
