I’ve recently thought about making some sort of game that requires people to have some sort of VR headset but I don’t know how much of the Roblox community actually own a headset, so I don’t know if it’s worth spending time into developing a game and then have no one playing.

ROBLOX is short on good VR games, however the genre is not very popular due to the small minority of roblox uses who even own a vr headset
If you could make a game that would make someone want to but a vr headset, go for it

I see that most VR games that are popular have some sort of compatibility between the PC and Mobile players so they can play as well with the people who have VR headsets but let’s say the VR game was competitive I feel like the PC players will have an advantage.

I think that VR game doesn’t worth to make now because the price of VR headset is too expensive and I think that most player on ROBLOX are kids so they can’t have them too.
If you really want to make that game It will be something pretty unique and new for ROBLOX however you should think about your Player first before creating a game, so you will know that who you creating the game for.

i mean, you might not get the large player count that you would with regular platform games, but it would be cool for the small amount of users who do use vr.
i would say no, but it wouldn’t hurt to go for it
The genre of “Hangout with VR Friend” is a concept that’s been done to death already. Like I said, if you were to make a VR game, make it unique and fun for the VR players
Yeah I want to stay away from that concept and making something unique and fun.
