doesnt lag for me, your sure you have the righ one.
Personally, I like to use F3X because there are several things you can do that default building tools can’t.
For instance, you can scale multiple parts without having them expand, unlike the default building tools. You can also use F3X to scale from both sides. F3X not only provides these kinds of useful utilities, they also provide just about everything what the default building tools can do.
This really depends on experience and personality; you should try both of these out and compare it yourselves and see which one fits for you.
I use both. Because sometimes I want the module bigger. then I just rescale it with the classic tools. and move it around and THROUGH walls with the F3X tools.
F3X is good and all, just not it for me, i use the default one for most cases, but sometimes its worth using both
I assume you’re talking about the tool version of F3X? F3X also has a studio plugin version.
This is based off what you’re comfortable with! I have made some amazing creations with the F3X tools, just make sure you’re using a credible source! I think they have much more to offer, and allow me to expand my imagination with different elements, in my opinion.
Default tools are pretty primitive. If you build often, definitely look into either F3X or SBS. (I recommend SBS)
I am talking about the plug-in.
9 times out of 10 people are talking about the tool rather than the plugin, so yes. I never hear anyone talk about the plugin version.
What is the tool version? 30 chars
I personally think that F3X aren’t good tools.
I only ever used F3X when I was specifically asked too. most of the time, it was for fun/RP, too.
Realistically, it depends on your workload and your style.
If you are already used to Blender or SketchUp, you will generally feel right at home with F3X, as it is incredibly similar to those usability wise.
On the other hand, if you are just getting into your work or prefer to work with a more bare-bones looking system, then SBS is typically the route to take.
Neither is truly better nor worse than the other, as both have their major upsides and downsides.
No. Don’t use F3X. Roblox tools can do everything and more than these tools can do, using the Roblox tools makes you need a bigger understanding of all the properties and configurations as well as shortcuts that help speed up your workflow, if you want to start using studio full time or if you want to start developing more professionally you should start growing the understanding of this, meanwhile F3X can make a couple things easier, it’s better to learn how to do the things that F3X does automatically, manually, but after all it’s your preference.
By the way. This is also something that F3X building tools have inside Script Analysis. This really should be fixed.
I have F3X installed for the purpose of resizing multiple parts at once, I never use it besides that.
