Is multiple parents possible?

In the new explorer, I noticed that in hierarchy the option to select parent has plural in parenthesis. Does this mean that it is possible to assign an instance more than one parent, or does it mean something else?

If I click it, then only the direct parent for it is selected, it does not work as a reverse of selecting all descendants

Also setting parent to a table or using .Parent += naturally doesn’t work

I could be entirely wrong, but by taking into context the other option “select children”

I think if you have multiple children currently selected and you hit “Select Parent(s)” it would select the direct parent of each child currently selected.
