Out of 850k impressions from the sponsored ad, my game only ended up with a CTR of 0.52%. I don’t think it looks bad, what could be the reason for only 1/200 clicking? I used a max bid of 0.02

I have no idea. Maybe the icon poorly portrays the type of game?

And it looks a bit generic with no specific things

Bad is subjective. I recommend switching out the character with a more detailed one and making the character larger.
It’s mainly the character and background that feels unappealing.
The gummy bears are fire and the words are fire.
It’s mainly that there’s no object being centered I believe.
I don’t know if you still have the file for the logo, but you could replace the character with a Giant gummy bear, and also blur the far background.
I like your game btw.
This one might make for a better thumbnail also.

I’m currently working on a new thumbnail where I take all the things said above into account. I assume the reason you like the thumbnail you sent is because of the fire ball? I’ll also add it in then 
I like it because of the figure and the beatles. The fireball is pretty sick too.
