Is my group icon inappropriate?

Hello, so recently I had someone make my group a new icon. After some waiting time, Roblox deemed it inappropriate. I would like to know what is considered inappropriate on the picture, as I looked at it, and I didn’t see anything that was inappropriate?

I don’t see anything inappropriate.

You’re best off just appealing the moderation action, or sending an email to Roblox Support asking for some justification as to why it was declined.

Edit: Amended my statement based off what @Crazedbrick1 rightly mentioned :cowboy_hat_face:

I don’t see anything blatantly wrong with this.
However, I often get warned for having text that blends in with the background, or having a background at all. This usually comes with the mod note ‘No small or unreadable text’ or ‘No unclear images’.
As @sou_p recommended I would appeal it and request exact reasons for why the image was moderated.

Nothing inappropriate here, looks good to me!

I don’t see any issue with it. Try uploading it again because it’s not inappropriate and it is a good icon.

Maybe because it looks like lingerie? On the other hand, various aspects of moderation are completely broken.

That wouldn’t make a difference.

I mean, if the clothing piece was inappropriate, then maybe Roblox should of moderated it before I could buy it.

Please contact Mod_Review_Requests if you believe that the asset wasn’t inappropriate and was falsely flagged. You can find it in DevForum groups.

Yeah I’ve seen plenty of stuff like that but the way the moderation is they may have missed the original item or just made an error with you. There’s never a satisfactory answer on moderation in Devforum. It’s just to mysterious/broken to figure out…

People keep mentioning ‘appeal’ but as far as we are all aware, she has not received any moderation action for this. She should try to reupload this and if it gets taken down with moderation action, appeal or contact Mod_Review_Requests on the DevForum.

Roblox have deemed it inappropriate, meaning it has been moderated, hence why people are talking about appealing the decision.

They have not said it has been moderated though with a warning or a ban. They probably noticed their icon to be replaced with a placeholder.

I got the typical warning message saying that my icon was inappropriate. I had to reactivate my account.

Regardless of what feedback has actually been given about the asset, it would’ve been moderated in some form or another for her to know it’s been deemed inappropriate. Whether she received a warning (which now seems to be the case) or just had the asset pulled down, she still has the right to appeal it.

Thanks for clearing that up. You should try to appeal it now I know the full picture.

No problem, I forgot to state that I had gotten the warning message, sorry about all the confusion. I contacted the moderation team, and I am still waiting for a response.

They’ll probably take around an hour and up to a maximum of a day to respond. I still have no clue why your icon was taken down.

Neither do I. I hope I get an explanation as to why it was taken down.
