Is my map too green/brown?

I’ve made a lobby for a sword fighting game that me and my friend are working on. I can’t help but think that it just has too much green and brown in it. I’ve added some flowers and mushrooms to try and make it a little bit more colourful but they’re such small details that I don’t think much has changed. What can I do about this? Any other feedback will also be appreciated, too!

I mean, I don’t think it

Maybe a river that goes all the way around, or a waterfall or something. Also, maybe delete some of the trees. It just looks really crowded for a lobby.

This map looks good! I would say it’s too green/brown just because there are too many trees by each other, but other than that it’s great! How long did it take to make this? What game is it used in?

Thank you! I removed some of the trees last night and it definitely looked better after. I started on the 3rd so it took a few hours across the 2 days. It will be used for a sword fighting game that me and my friend are currently making.

Could you show us the results?

It looks much better originally the trees seemed a little repetitive! Other than the map can you show us some gameplay if that’s out yet?

yes, this looks better than the original, i think the fountain is a nice touch.

Thank you! Game’s still in very early development (only started like 2 days ago) and my scripter’s been busy so we don’t really have much gameplay yet. Sorry.

Yeah, no problem man! It looks good when there’s some more things added could you keep us updated I’m interested in seeing the progress. Can you also give some of the ideas or is it just a sword fighting game like fencing?

Sure, will do! The current idea of the game is that there are rounds with about a max of 10 players. There will be a time limit and whichever player gets the most kills at the end wins, which was inspired from Arsenal. We also want to make it a bit less generic with a random chance of gamemodes or random effects happening to make it a bit more interesting.

Can you go into depth what kind of game modes there will be and will there be any special abilities for swords, if you can list any of the swords please do or are they going to be gears made by Roblox like a gear fighting game but the gears are only swords?

For the gamemodes, we’ve been thinking of last man standing, capture the flag and survival where it’s players VS AI like zombies or something. We might add more but we’re not sure just yet. So far we have a katana, a claymore and a knight sword. We’re definitely going to add more but we’ll probably add them in later in development. We probably won’t have any special abilities for each sword, but we will have random effects, where each player gets a unique random effect each round like fire, knockback, slowness, etc.

I suggest game modes like

Team death match

Infection (player versus player version)

King of the hill (last mand standing)

Duels

Capture the flag (2 or more teams attempt to capture enemy flags and also must defend their own flag if a team has gotten their flag captured a certain amount of times that entire team is eliminated)

FFA (free for all)

Like you said PVE (player versus enemy) Zombie AIs and player survivors.

Domination Teams control points on the map by capturing them and holding them.

Search and DESTORY One team will attempt to destroy something while another team will attempt to defend said thing that trying to be destroyed.
