Please tell me if this UI is good or not and give feedback. Also, should I be splitting the left and right frames into separate ScreenGUIS so it’s easier to script(currently have everything in 1 screen gui)?
This is an awesome start, I love the clean look - however it may be beneficial to border all buttons /boxes in a black or grey or even your game’s theme colours to differentiate them. I recommend splitting them up into two seperate screenGUI’s.
Possibly names;
- “MasterList” and “MainInfo”
I have the buttons on “AutoButtonColor” it makes the UI grey when their mouse hovers over it.
Thanks, I will do that right now.
What does “MasterList” stand for? Also, does “Maininfo” replace “About”?
Personally I would recommend making the UI in photoshop, illustrator, or if you’re ballsy, in paint. Right now it’s just flatter like a website, so one color with another colored font, it’s not very creative per say, and it’s a very simple style. (Which there is nothing wrong there, just personal preference) Should add some more color depth to it to give it a bit of a touch, if you can use gradients I would try using those just ranging from 1 lighter color to a color slightly darker.
I will try to make everything pop out more and other stuff because I realized the clean design won’t be much appealing and will make players leave.
These are just terms I would use to name them for reference in scripts etc.
Nice start, I would recommend changing the font up a little or even create a custom font. But other than that it looks pretty good.
I am sorry, but I completely disagree. The UI design is an art and its subjective. I believe the style is absolutely fine and the current direction is good. Using Photoshop or illustrator is not required unless you want a style that requires it. I do agree that this still can be tweaked in smaller details like the color (not huge difference) or fonts, but overall I’d suggest improving the details of the style not the style it self.
