I’ve heard from multiple traders that team create has quite a few issues with security, usually with the other person stealing your IP or cookies. Am I safe using this feature with my friends? If I somehow get hacked from a fault of Roblox is there any way I could get my account back without contacting Roblox support?

Assuming that your friends are trustworthy and not toxic, you will be safe using Team Create. However, if you are still unsure and want to be on the safe side, don’t use Team Create. If a roblox side issue occurs and you lose your account, your best bet would be to contact roblox support.

Is that really the best option? Roblox support would likely just send me a page of how to keep your account safe. Thank you though.

As far as I know Team Create is 100% safe to use and Roblox wouldn’t release a feature with major security flaws that you’ve listed. Furthermore, to keep your account safe, I’d suggest turning on 2-Factor Authentication and setting up an Account PIN

There used be a method where people would trick you into copying your own cookies in a linked source module script. It went something like “can you copy this code for me in team create.” As i remember it was quickly patched.I doubt theres any easy way someone can scam you in team create without it being blatantly obvious.

I have actually never had a problem with team create except for this : A while back, I had some limited items on an account, and someone was able to trick me into putting something in a script. This script basically allowed him to send a trade and take my items by auto excepting. I believe this is patched though. Is this sort of what you are talking about?
