Is the documentation the best place to Learn Luau?

  • What are you attempting to achieve? I mainly go to the documentation and It has everything when i need help with scripts

  • What is the issue? Not everything has text information

  • What solutions have you tried so far? I looked through everywhere and nothing is there

I use the documentation and there isn’t information for everything which is the issue, so I’m wondering, is the documentation the best place to Learn Luau?

This API Reference documents all of the classes, data types, enumerations, functions, events, callbacks, and properties that you can use when creating on Roblox.

Does this help? Yes, it does. However, I would encourage using it alongside an actual learning resource such as a Youtube video, devforum guide in #resources or the Creator Luau help.

First of all, this is off topic; secondly, those are both very new and cannot even be used yet.

  1. this is the closest place I can think of, I was starting to notice that it’s not fully documented, and the documentation is available for public usage

  2. I know they’re new, and I do know they can’t be used yet, I didn’t even use it in a single script of mine
