Is the limit for bad language any different on the forum?

I was just wondering, because things like connecting “a*s” to a word on roblox gets it filtered, though on the dev forum I’ve seen it a couple times. Is the limit less strict because most devs here are more mature, or ?

6. The private sections of the forum are mature enough for occasional swear words for emphasis. That said, do not direct swear words at other members or use sexual/extreme language.

• 6.1 Directed swearing or extreme language is prohibited on all categories of the Developer Forum.

According to the rules, you can swear a little in private sections of the DevForum but you cannot take it to extremes or swear at someone.

You are allowed to do it in categories that aren’t public and you can’t direct it at someone. You also cant use the Hard N

In case you’re wondering, a category is considered private when there is a locker beside its name.

Unless you’re being rude (see: against the rules), it’s technically allowed, but in all cases you should refrain from swearing; it doesn’t reflect well on you.
