Is there a proper way to disconnect a part of a mesh from the actual mesh

Hello Developer Forum, I recently got into building. Nothing too out of this world, just some free models and very amateur builds. However I recently came across a problem, when I have the model and click it, It selects the entire model. Now this would be fine if it was to move it around. But my goal is to make the doors walk through since I can’t go through them when I test the game. How would I be able to take apart and them reassemble the doors back together properly. I’m sorry if this question seems dumb, I’m fairly new to building

With kind regards, Jarix46

You could ungroup the model by selecting the model and press Ctrl + U, and then when you’re done, group the parts together again by selecting them all and press Ctrl + G.

Or you could go to workspace, find the model and then click the “>” next to the models name and select the parts in the model you want to change. (Sorry if I’m bad at explaining)

Thank you so much! I was asking around on Discord for about an hour
