Is there a setting to fix this?

I have a union that I am trying to place an animated decal on, but the moving decal isn’t shaped like the union.

All Help Is appreciated!

When I negate it the usual red color appears on the part but the animated decal gets removed

Remove the animated decal firts before negatating it and then after negatating place it inside of the part

Still looks the same after doing that

can u send me a screen shot with the union and the animated decal after negatating + the explorer of the animated decal

Ok, When i say animated decal its not an actual decal but its a Beam of an image thas moving I will post ss in a min

u meant the animated decal still got deleted after u negate the part? or after u negate/union the part the script is not working/the animated thing is not working on the union/the part that has the animated decal?

No, What im saying is that the BEAM(Animated decal, Not actual decal) was not taking the shape of the union behind it. I used your advice; I negated the part FIRST then i inserted the Animated decal Still did not work. I think the misunderstanding that you have is about the animated decal, its not an ACTUAL DECAL its a beam with a texture ID which makes it move.

I sent the wrong ss sending the new one

This is the actual ss after i used your solution

Try to read this

or u can remeasure the beam
i can show it to u but im on mobile and i already turned off my pc cause its late here and im gonna sleep if u can wait until tmmrw i can show u how’s it done

Yes, I’ve seen and used this property already BUT my union is a half circle on top of a rectangle making a curved top.

u can’t union beams lol. use a spritesheet + offset script instead.

Could you demonstrate what that would look like?
