I have a ball, the ball is able to be launch in the phyiscally(not by script). I want to have the ball to have more friction but still be able to get in the air. I tried changing its bodythrust to -2000 which got nice friction but blocks the ability for the ball to be launched in the air. Is there a way to add friction without removing upward force? (I have bodythrust bodyvelocity and bodygyro in the ball)
You can make the ball bigger, it increases friction, but make the ball smooth so it doesn’t get as much friction in the air, allowing it to move more freely.
Use custom physical properties in baseparts
To summarize what both @OceanTubez and @nanosph are saying, you want to go into the custom physical properties of the ball and change the density of the ball not increase its size actually. This will give the ball a fight against gravity. You will have to experiment what density to use against the body thrust you chose to achieve the physics you are looking for.
K ill look into it thanks you.
