Is there a way to add multiple developers without enabling team create?

I’ve been wanting to add my alt as a developer in my game for a while now (just incase something happens to my main), but I don’t want to enable team create. It’s very annoying to “apply” script edits to every little change and stuff like that.

Is this possible? I’ve tried looking and couldn’t find a single topic about this.

Yes you can set the role of a group to have ‘edit’ permissions for all places.

That will give them access to every place.

Keep in mind you shouldn’t work together at the same time without team create.

But my game isn’t listed under a group, its under my profile

There’s no way. You’ll need to enable Team Create to allow multiple people to edit your game.

Team Create isn’t all that bad either, I’ve heard it auto saves your work, unlike without Team Create enabled.

Then it’s not possible without team create as far as I know.

User-owned games are usually more limiting (especially fund-related!). I highly recommend using a group for games.

If it’s just testing around things in studio, then both are fine. But the moment you plan on actually releasing the game I think it’s best to use a group.

Is there a specific reason why team create can’t be used?

One manual way of working together would be to share local place files. I don’t really recommend this since it’s a lot of work, but it’s a possibility.

I don’t want to enable team create because I don’t need it.

Like I said, I’m just trying to add my alt as a developer incase my main gets banned or something like that. We would never be working at the exact same time, that’s why I don’t want to enable team create.

Then just resort to saving your places locally and publishing it on Roblox at the same time then. At least if you get banned, you’re still able to load up your alt and work on the game locally.
