so you used to be able to use ctrl + (1,2,3, or 4,) to swap between the transformation tools but now you can just press 1,2,3 and 4. Im not used to this yet and for some reason the ctrl hotkey doesnt work so can i change this back?

If you go in the “file” tab you will find a button named “customize shortcuts”
then search for select, move, scale and rotate in the search bar menu and change the keybinds
