Is there a way to keep cancollide on

Hey so I have a custom rig which im using as the starter character. its all working fine, however cancollide has to be off on the model for the rig to even move. but i need cancollide.

you could make use of collision groups

I guess I could but wouldnt that mean Id have to include all the things I need it to collide with?

Never mind my bad it was a hip height problem!
