Is there a way to make a game Pixelated?

Hello. I was wondering if there is any way to make a game look pixelated without using Viewportframes.

As far as I’m sure, if you don’t want to use ViewportFrames, your only option right now is pretty much just pixelated textures, e.g. go into an image editing program and find a blur effect that uses custom width/length to pixelate images. You can have a search on the forum though to see if anyone else has answered a question like this.

I don’t believe so, without going to insane measures.

Roblox has no pixelate shader for the whole game, and it doesn’t have support for custom shaders or a way to force a certain resolution.

One word. Use parts and capture the camera then assign the colors to the bricks. Far as I know.

Just shoot 36 864 raycasts (and more for transparency) and you’ll get something decent?

(The fps is horrible lol, and it’s running with parallel lua)

Another way is to duplicate a glass part client side and stick it to the camera, that way on future lighting there should be a bit of pixelation, thats the only optimized way as far is im aware.

I will try this and see if it works.
