Is there a way to make "Paper Mario Style" playable characters?

I’m interested in making a game because I’m stuck in quarantine and just out of curiosity I was thinking about making a game in the Paper Mario style and I wonder if that’s even possible with Roblox studio?

Hey so was I but I think you have to use spritesheets everytime the character moves also make the character a flat invisible brick with a decal on both sides also try to lock it in front of the camera.

Spritesheets. You’re thinking of spritesheets

You could make your character a flat plane with spritesheets that change sprites to portray movement, but i’m pretty sure this would take a decent amount of time to create and perfect.

Maybe in the future ROBLOX will implement spritesheets as a fully fledged feature but for now we have to resort to scripting spritesheets, so in hindsight it doesn’t look to be easy but most definitely possible.

TLDR; Yes its possible but its not that easy
