Is there a way to recolor the steep slopes of grass? [TERRAIN]

Not sure if this is the right category or not,

but I was curious if you were able to change the color of the steep slopes for grass. I know you can change the color for grass itself in the terrain properties, but there doesn’t appear to be a setting for the steep parts of it, nor does changing the grass color do anything to it.

I know you can just select another material and paint on every single slope, but that is a real pain in the neck, and I am trying to find an easier solution.

Is there another material I need to change? Or a setting somewhere? I have seen in some games they have been able to change this, and not sure how they do it.

You have to change a another material called Ground.

Changing the ground material doesn’t change the color of what I am wanting though. The steep part is still the “grass” texture.

I figured it out. I was unaware there was something in the game called MaterialService, and I had a property called ‘Use2022Materials’ Checked, and that is why I couldn’t recolor anything.
