Is there a way to secure your closed sold source script from third parties?

I’m wondering to acknowledge if it’s possible to secure your closed source script, without making it public for everyone, and selling it to your client - how would I prevent them from re-selling the script that I inserted in their game? Is there a method to prevent from them copy and pasting the script and re-selling it to others? If I’m right, require() no longer supports closed sources (which would be useful in this situation), and I still can’t find a method. Is there any way to manage your closed source scripts without it being resold for security?
