Is there a way to use FFlags on Microsoft Store Roblox?

Hello there,

It’s already a while that Roblox went out in the Microsoft Store, and it’s very useful since it can easily use more functionalities (mabye), like Xbox Game Bar activity tracking (Bloxstrap can do it for the Roblox Client, but not for the Microsoft Store one), live tiles (Yes, I still use this, don’t ask me why) and mostly because the update strategy is better : the Roblox Client litteraly delete the old files, and put the new ones, deleting the FFlags. So what I want to achieve is to use the Microsoft Store Roblox to experiment if it is better to stay on the website client or on the other one.

The problem is, I bypassed access into the “WindowsApp” folder, went into the “ROBLOXCORPORATION.ROBLOX_2.615.606.0_x64__55nm5eh3cm0pr” folder, and when I want to copy and paste the FFlag folder, here is what it shows:

So, I verified again the security permissions, and again, I got back this message. So, I didn’t went forward just to make sure what I’m doing is legal. I don’t want to get my account deleted for a simple and inoffensive file. So, here are my question:

  1. Is this possible, or are FFlags not supported on the MS App?

  2. Is this legal, or do I break the ToS rules?

  3. What shall I do?

If you could answer to those questions, it’ll be glad. I am looking for a solution in my side.

EDIT: With a little trick, I did it on injecting FFlags into the Microsoft Store Roblox. But actually, FFlags just doesn’t work with the Microsoft version. I thought I could be able to enable Hyperthreading to get more FPS…

Hello, I’m not 100% sure what you mean, but it seems like you have an issue with the administrator request to continue. If this is preventing you from doing what you want, I suggest going into safe mode on your computer and doing it there to avoid being bothered by the administrator request to continue.

They’re planning to remove locally settable FFlags soon, so wouldn’t recommend it. Injecting things into the client is against ToS and will most likely get you flagged by Hyperion
