Hey there! My name is Tony and I am the lead developer for the clothing group, Dream Team Official. Recently, we have decided to create a new homestore. I’ve got a base down but I do want to know. Is there any way or any plugins I could use to easily add windows? Thanks in advance!
What’s wrong with just moving some parts around and making windows? The only way I could think if making windows without moving parts is just making a union.
Would be kinda annoying and hard due to the amount of parts.
Unfortunately as far as I’m aware there is no plug-in that does what your requesting. The only way you can do this, as Crazedbrick1 said, is by either creating a hole in the wall with a union then filling the spot with the window or by moving parts around.
There is a plug-in that allows you to easily place pre-made models (stamp plug-ins) but these are more meant for items that need to be placed a lot (like trees) rather than windows but in theory you could probably do something like that. Though it probably won’t be very precise or neat.
either you move and resize parts of the wall in a way it makes a window
or
use Roblox CSG aka unions.
Make the window, group it, (Name it; Optional) and then dupe it (CTRL-D) and then place the dupes where ever you need windows.
A plug-in that makes windows can exist, and maybe already does, because in welcome to bloxburg there is a window system which can be turned into a plug-in
Are the stripes in your wall a texture or many parts in a pattern? If it’s many parts, then you can use F3X to resize the blocks that you selected locally.
It’s just copy and pasting, that’s what building is. There aren’t just plugins that’ll do everything for you.
You can make it a union and it makes it a bit less laggy
