Is there away to make a fun game with little to no scripting?

Hello, I always wondered if there was a way to make a fun game with almost no scripting. I’ve only been wondering because all the fun games you see nowadays have lots of scripting and time, so i wondered if there was anyway to make a really fun game without the need of scripting, or at least not much scripting

Also sorry if this is in the wrong category because i just became a member and it’s my first time creating a topic.

Have a nice day

I mean sure, you can make an obby, showcase etc. But if I want to be honest with you, it’s quite difficult to make a fun game with no little scripting. And as you said a lot of fun and front page games involve a whole amount of scripting!!

Yes there us you can make an obby a car game

A car game? How does that a small amount of scripting?

You can make a car by just using a vehicle seat

Don’t you need some sort of scripting for that??

No you just need some welds so it does not fall

Maybe but that won’t be really good car tbh. You can check out a video Roblox themselves have uploaded: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zs-QXSEvQv4
And maybe don’t reply to this or just message me, since were flooding the post

thanks a lot!!! maybe i’ll try make an obby soon

Good luck!! Later in development try to challenge yourself by learning the basics of scripting

There is lots of scripting tutorials out there to get to know it better!

You can make a pretty good car with limited programming knowledge thanks to constraints and vehicle seats. Most complex code is welding any complicated frames to a base, and you’ll likely need to turn collisions off for the hull of the car so you can touch the seat and sit.

So yea, a game where you just drive randomly found vehicles should count for “Little” scripting.
