Is there like a way to enable surface viewer that was removed?

It’s pretty hard to build things like seat, or script using surface area when i dont know where its facing. So I want to know if it’s still possible to enable surface viewer on parts, or if not, is there an alternative way? like plugins or anything

by surface viewer, i mean that the surface shows when i click on the surface in property, but the surface option is removed in properties

If you want change part surfaces like stud, inlet, smooth, glue, you can use this plugin:

You could use the plugin surface viewer or I believe you could use an attachment or just check the parts orientation by right clicking the part and choosing show orientation which shows the front of the part.
