I like the overall idea, and I think it might work pretty well!
I do have some critiques though.
For the giver role, well, lets just say that sounds really boring
Givers should be able to do more than just give things to the climbers, because who actually wants to just sit around and do nothing until somebody wants something from you.
So maybe changing up how this role works would probably be smart.
Other than that I think the idea is pretty solid depending on how you go about certain things, I wish you the best of luck!
Will a point system for the giver and trickster role Good , like for giver role it will solve mini games to earn points and will be using these points to provide abilities to climbers.
• The giver should have enough points to provide a particular ability.
• There will be cool down between providing abilities one after another.
• Also if making giver play with climbers together, it may also work.
The idea of making them play together actually sounds pretty good, but at some point it gets a little annoying when you just keep giving, which is why I think that the climbers should also give.
Not actually giving them stuff, but like protecting them? I think that could make a good game dynamic of teamwork.
Also just be sure to account for if there arent any givers that the climbers still have a way to progress around the tricksters tricks.
Let it be more of a battle, tricksters will fight against givers and the winner of the fight would be able to complete their duty. For givers to win the climbers have to as well and vice versa for the tricksters. The climbers should be able to collect rocks and throw them at any team. Climbers won’t be able to know who are the tricksters or who are the givers. Add a currency and a range of tools/weapons.
