You can write your topic however you want, but you need to answer these questions:
What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!
I am trying to make a game where you can make anything you want, towns, citys, trading hubs, whatever you can create. You can trade, buy and sell items.
What is the issue? Include enough details if possible!
I am not sure if this is a good game idea and/or if this game has potential on the front page.
What solutions have you thought of so far?
I haven’t thought of any solutions.
Wow sounds like the game I always wanted to play, it’s definitly a good idea, I was also planning to make something like this lol. About the front page part i’m pretty certain since minecraft which could be counted similar to this attracts the same age group as roblox.
This seems like a cool idea but I guess it would take you a long time if you’re going to do this solo. I would play your game if ever it comes out though.
A game where you can make anything you want, huh? Hmm…
A critical question you would need to answer for a game like this is this: what is the motivation for playing a sandbox game? You say you can trade, buy and sell items, but based on your description, doesn’t everyone have everything, already? And if they don’t at first, does that in a way contradict your statement, where “you can make anything you want?”
My suggestion would be to look at already-existing sandbox games, and consider what they advertise besides just being able to build things. Minecraft is a good example. You can build, sure, but you can also create machines, use spooky commands and even create minigames if you know what you’re doing.
I think it’d be a good game idea. It’s a more advanced version of sandbox and other roblox in-game building genres which used to be very popular in 2013-2016.
To look for success we must always try our best but not always try to be the best. Don’t aim so high for front page but for relative success.
If you have the pockets, time and motivation to want to fall through then I think you should do it.
