Is this against Roblox TOS because it's considered gambling?

I’m making a lobby for my game, and I want to have a plinko machine that players can use when they’re waiting for a new round to begin.

It costs 10 coins to use, and players can earn coins from participating in rounds, but they can also buy coins with robux. When using the plinko machine (the ball’s movements are entirely physics based and random), players can win either 1, 5, 10, or 50 coins.

Would this be considered gambling, as players can lose their investment, and buy the currency with robux?

Greetings, I would just like to remind you of the Roblox Terms of Service when it comes to gambling.

I also don’t think it’s recommendable to be making these types of games because as we see, Roblox has full of children in it’s community and I think teaching kids to gamble for anything is kind of sending them the wrong message.

Gambling is actually something that teaches kids to use this type of method just to obtain money in anyway, and this may also influence them to apply this to a bigger type of currency, not just in games, but in real life.

It’s not the main focus of the game, but should I instead change the outcomes to 10, 15, 20, and 30 so that you can’t lose money at the very worst?

I don’t think this is suitable. Plinko on it’s own is fine for a “free daily gift thing” but you cannot sell it for in-game currency or Robux. I suggest not doing this, instead, make it so you can buy coins on their own, as it makes it more suitable for children.

Maybe you could try out some rewards or daily log in rewards for your game, rather making them gamble for it in a machine.

This method is actually better, in my opinion, because it will give the users currency when they log in which is actually better, rather than making a machine which teaches children to gamble.
In any way, actually, I could say gambling is wrong, whatever currency is involved.

You can have gambling, but you can’t have the currency linked in ANY way to Robux.

If you can gamble with currency B and can buy currency A with Robux, and transfer currency A →
B, you can and will get in trouble for this.

So, if you can buy A and then you have [B] shut off and just for gambling, i.e., find coins through out a map, where as A is gems or something of the sort.
