Isnt it like 30 dollars per person with DevEx rates? And you will lose money if you want to sue them
Many people have spoke up about him, thereās screenshots of him in one case, saying he will trade Robux for a 10$ Robux card, the owner is English btw, and when he received the code he would block the other user. I know itās partly people having too much trust but he is well known and disliked
If heās not willing to pay, legal action will be taken, and he will be reported to the court.
I have a very genius revenge plan. Do you want to hear it?
yes please haha he took tons of my time
-
Keep an eye on there discord look for hiring opportunities
-
Find a fellow dev or friend willing to help
-
If it is someone with no experience just BS a portfolio from google images
-
If hired this is where the fun starts
-
Open source the game
-
Delete EVERYTHING
-
Now with your baseplate you can choose ALL the free models your heart desires
-
Make sure to make the thumbnail a dumb meme and your done!
Ps. If they arenāt hiring at anytime have your friend or fellow dev just offer to work for a low price
Uhhh, i mean⦠i dont think you should, but but but YESSSSSSSSSSSSS
It sure is allowed to happen. Roblox doesnāt care about deals made off-platform. So that leaves your ability for punitive action against the fraudulent user with Discord.
Itās possible to identify the user via Discord. They respond to information requests made by law enforcement through valid, legal progress. What that means exactly you can read here.
Honestly though. Iād say you should just take your losses and forego all the time and effort in pursuing revenge against the user. Itās not worth it for you to get law enforcement to inquire Discord to release information about the user, hire a lawyer and sue that person. Youāre a minor, likely the other person is too. Plus the amount stolen is very low.
Why donāt you make a new discord account as a fake lawyer and freak him out? Maybe heāll even pay up.
UPDATE
As of today, many people have spoke about about the owner, and currently his game is under review
Iāve read all the replies to this post- summary they want you to take legal action. But you canāt because you were not legally employed, regardless of child labor laws.
You can do 2 things although:
- Report to Discord for the apparent and obvious reasons.
- Report to Roblox for the apparent and obvious reasons.
- Report his user and group.
Steps to take for the future:
- Before working for someone, research the person. Research their past. A simple profile check is also helpful. Usually, people leading a smaller development team have past works you can view. If not (rarely might their works not be publicly displayed), they probably are not actual developers, making them more likely to scam you.
- I highly suggest keeping copies of your work placing your creations and making them in separate places not owned or shared with the person paying you.
It should not be an issue for someone who WILL pay you. - Get a part of the payment upfront. In some cases, if can be understandable to not want to pay upfront, but if you are signing a legal contract the risk is far less. Especially if you are an accredited or well-reputed developer.
this is a very terrible, sick and ill minded idea
do it
The dude is hosting another fake giveaway lol
At first I thought it would be good to try join them as the development team are actually really nice people, however the owner sits back, watches it all get done and gives himself robux probably
You can file a DMCA report to roblox and take down his game, it should also flag his devex.

Seriously unfortunate this happened to you. Making absolute sure to make the scammerās image very well-known so that others avoid him would be one thing to go for.
Looks like heās gathered too much unwanted attention now.
Take care from now on, situations like these are really unfortunate yet still seem to happen quite often sadly.
If you want to ensure people know he is a scammer, I recommend making a HiddenDevs scam log. It is a well-known website, and commissioners will often use it to ensure employers are legit. It would ensure that anyone he tried to hire in the future immediately knows he has a history of scamming.
the comment you put in the group was deleted by bean lmao, as were mine
None of these reasons is a valid excuse to fire somebody, especially without pay or notice. You can contact Roblox about this or take legal action yourself if Roblox does not proceed with it. If you do not have the money for a lawyer, tons of stuff can help you online as well as you being able to handle this yourself. Do let me know if you need any assistance.
Note: Even if there is no legal contract or anything signed, as you have the words of the client and the owner you are obligated to take legal action. As mentioned above, Roblox can be converted to real currency, as well as your time being spent on someoneās work. You can also sue them for copyright infringement.
I still had him friended on roblox so i questioned him about it, every question I gave was avoided, things arent gonna work out for him anyway, I know that the majority of his staff are leaving soon, and me and some of his devs have stuck together and are making our own game. He thinks theyre staying with him
