Hey! I’m trying to make an experience that has automated payouts via groups. Is this allowed by roblox?
According to Rule 24 of the Roblox Community Standards:
‘We don’t allow contests, games, or sweepstakes on the platform that offer Robux as a prize. This includes:
*** Lottery-style games**
*** Any use of the words “Play for R$” in games**
*** Offers of “free Robux”**’
This rule may or may not be applicable on certain contexts. For example, developers are allowed to pay other developers or staff for their work/commissions using group payouts. What I believe is not allowed is using the feature to pay random group members.
I am a little stumped here. You may want to refer to other articles posted by Roblox such as the Community Standards or Terms of Use.
Hmm, it’s not exactly a prize nor is it complete random group members (gambling).
Give us a better detailed post.
Basically, it’s pretty pushy though a place that utilizes the 40% commission from catalog products and gives it to the player.
There’s a chrome extension that already does this (I believe it’s called RoBacks?). Don’t want to shoot down your idea or anything, but I don’t think going to is far is needed for a Roblox game.
Yeah saw that, though it only targets a minor market of roblox players. And especially with the stigma regarding roblox extensions currently, an in-built place apart of the platform would be more appealing to broader audiences not only opening up to console/mobile users.
Well I don’t think this is allowed because this is what free robux groups do, they make a bot payout robux when requested which is not allowed. Sorry!
That’s all good, hoping to hear more opinions on the matter.
