Is this an ideal size for terrain?

Hello!
I’m creating an open-world exploring game with a friend. We are planning to make our terrain map 4096x5-10x4096. We are designing the map for hopefully the least amount of lag on PC and possibly Xbox. With the additional parts for details, villages, mountains, and additional landscape will this work out fine? Or will most players experience a good amount of lag?

From the heightmap announcement post, they mentioned that something within these extents will run absolutely fine with Roblox terrain:

16384 x 16384 x 1024

Your’s is only a fourth of that, so I think it should be alright. :+1:

Would we still be fine with additional parts?

The lag system is kinda going to be alright cause i did what i looked up
