Firstly, calling you 8 years old doesn’t suggest I’m arrogant
Secondly, and hopefully for the last time, rules are rules. An innocent being killed by a murderer is supporting a violent crime. In this case it doesn’t matter how much gore is shown, all is needed is for the innocent to be seen dying from the murderer
Rules are rules, but I aint seeing some section or another that contains you can’t “kill” somebody in a game, with minimal/none gore at all.
Heck, even games that are targeted at 18+ users are usually packed with a disclaimer that mentions that the game contains suicide, when they don’t do the same for “harming” others in a shooter game.
Also, a murderer killing somebody would not necessarily make you mentally damaged, but self-harm would legit harm you even more if you already have mental health issues, and thats the point why it is against the tos, hence why they said this in this part:
At Roblox, we take our users’ well-being very seriously. We’re here to help provide resources for those struggling with mental health, and we may communicate with law enforcement regarding credible threats of self-harm. We don’t allow content or behavior that depicts, glorifies, or encourages suicide or self-injury, including:
To add on, especially if a kid who doesn’t know about killing themself, it may get to their head and they may mention it and other kids would know what it is and mentally affect them probably.
Adding onto that, a kid playing arsenal for example, might not care about the fact that some karen on the devforum is arguing what they are doing is inappropriate, when they are literally just eliminating players using either some goofy gun or an invisible ray.
While a kid might TRULY get traumatized if they were playing:
A game where they are literally stabbing someone very violently, with some spicy, totally-not-realistically-gorey effect and corpses coming out.
A game where they are literally seeing someone hung/stab themselves.
You continue to try prove your point with logic that doesn’t exist.
You don’t even know half of what you’re saying. You mentioned games with suicide have warnings, but games with killing other people don’t. That is wrong, both types of games definitely have warnings.
I’m not arguing saying that suicide is a good thing at all. My point now, and has been for the past several messages, is that on-paper several games are against TOS. You literally can’t prove otherwise.
You’re saying no one would be effected by shooter games where you kill others? Ask your parents kid
Once again, I’m not saying people wouldn’t be effected by killing themselves, which by the way would be more common than you think in Roblox, such as games with fall damage that gives the ability for players to commit suicide.
I would definitely step away from the suicide theme because no platform would like that. No one would be able to safely make videos with that and roblox will hate it.
Can you just stop calling people children and accept when other people want to help? Suicide is against the TOS, that’s the whole point of this topic, now that you’ve learned that just change it and move on.
Is literally suicide. Just admit that you made a mistake and change it.
Or disregard everyone else and get your game banned. But if you are going to do that anyway and reject our feedback, why did you make a topic about it and waste everyone’s time?
I don’t see the… ”logic” that you’re trying to point out.
It is clear people are no longer trying to help. Mentioned in a few posts.
And if you believe my logic is off, explain why you think so.
I can call anyone a child, I often do based on their poor understanding of facts. Their logic is based on their own personal thoughts rather than in-the-book rules. This is no longer related to the initial topic, I haven’t ever argued what I shared is within boundaries, rather other games are actually out of boundaries according to the rules that say what I made are out of boundaries.
If you don’t understand, no point in arguing.
Honestly sad to see the amount of people who don’t understand.
Now you are mutating my words to know how to respond to me. Ridiculous.
Have you ever seen a shooter game targeted at 18+ packed with a disclaimer that you would be “killing” others. Now, that will never happen.
You are definitely mixing up between a normal shooter game, and a game that contains suicide. For sure themes of murdering with extreme gore is still wrong as a game with suicide, but yet, those aren’t we talking about.
What type of games are they? And additionally, how they project it?
Normally, you wouldn’t be affected by shooting people by using an invisible ray without gore (quite literally every popular shooter game that doesn’t have gore works like that, or they use a projectile instead). If they have extreme gore, then they would be considered as bad as games that have suicide, but this isn’t the case.
That’s where we can agree, but self-harm is definitely against the ToS so don’t judge me on how Roblox manages their moderation.
For the sake of loving god, stop being a literal child and accept the truth.
Society hates it, Roblox hate it, games that contain direct reference to suicide put a warning, shooters may normally put a normal age-rating if they are on a platform different than Roblox.
Mention them for god’s sake and specify why the heck are they against ToS.
That’s a terrible mindset, others breaking rules doesn’t the heck mean you should.
I will end my part of the discussion here, you are being aggressive despite the fact I am talking with all respect. Consider read my previous points, as I’m legit repeating myself.
PSA: calling me child won’t further prove your point or make me any annoyed.
