Is this considered inappropriate..?

that means that the murderer is commiting suicide, against tos

Creating positive game experiences. When designing your game, focus on providing positive game experiences for our community (e.g., working in a pizza restaurant, building a theme park, etc.). You should encourage the proper use of your game and never directly or indirectly encourage inappropriate behavior . For example, experiences within a game should not have an inappropriate theme (sleepover/slumber parties), contain nude or partially clothed characters, or display suggestive animations. Below is a list of inappropriate behaviors (and please note this list is not comprehensive; you should think through if you are providing or promoting inappropriate behavior):

*** Providing users’ personal information;**
*** Harassment or bullying;**
*** Using or encouraging the use of profanity (swearing);**
*** Child endangerment;**
*** Hate speech or actions;**
*** Impersonation and defamation;**
*** Threats and self-harm ;**
*** Looking for dates or dating partners;**
*** Sexual content or overly violent content;**
*** Dangerous, unethical and illegal activities; or**
*** Content that implies or makes an avatar appear naked or in underwear/undergarments. This includes solid color avatars without clothing.**

I really don’t get your point here.

And that’s your answer.

We’re past that now. I now know after reading the TOS.

I hate how I always repeat myself. several big games go against that same sheet of terms. So this instance could be one of them

this dudes arguing with people helping him what a

If the topic was answered then solution, no point in going off topic. If you want to rant about moderation then go for it.

Apparently I’m the only one using logic :person_shrugging:

So you’re not going off topic too bud?

Thats not supporting a violent crime, nor for people who experience depression or any mental illness that influences self-harm.

Now do the same for a self-harm death effect - You see a character harming itself, as a person who his mental health is fine, will probably not care, while a person who is heavily depressed will get his depression worse.

Also, who cares about eliminating someone in a murderer-vs-civilian game when the game owner doesn’t make it in a way that is totally disturbing. Now, if a character committed suicide, then, they committed suicide, no matter how you project that action.

If you think murderer killing an innocent is not supporting a violent crime, you must be literally 8 years old.

Plus, whether or not people playing it feel it’s bad or not, on paper it is in fact against the TOS.

But of course you can continue to try :joy:

And by the way, people can be influenced by murder games like that too. Not just suicidal reference. But general killing reference, especially against civilians.

if you think this, go make it a development discussion, not here.
this is already solved. the awnser is right in your reply

This discussion is no longer about my model being against TOS. clearly.

thats what im saying, make a development discussion about the “If you think murderer killing an innocent is not supporting a violent crime, you must be literally 8 years old.” part.

I have already expressed my point and argument. You are that kind of a guy that legit thinks games support crimes.

When a murderer “kills” an innocent, when the game owner doesn’t make it totally disturbing (like legit, in murder mystery, you don’t go around and sticking your knife in every possible way of the innocent body), then it’s absolutely fine.

Also, a depressed individual may not care about “killing” somebody in murder mystery while they may get more traumatized if they see self-harm.

Haha, love the ignorance

Firstly, calling you 8 years old doesn’t suggest I’m arrogant

Secondly, and hopefully for the last time, rules are rules. An innocent being killed by a murderer is supporting a violent crime. In this case it doesn’t matter how much gore is shown, all is needed is for the innocent to be seen dying from the murderer

It’ll just start another argument with not the logic I would desire.

What is your point you are trying to make? You’re just repeating the same thing over and over again.

Rules are rules, but I aint seeing some section or another that contains you can’t “kill” somebody in a game, with minimal/none gore at all.

Heck, even games that are targeted at 18+ users are usually packed with a disclaimer that mentions that the game contains suicide, when they don’t do the same for “harming” others in a shooter game.

Also, a murderer killing somebody would not necessarily make you mentally damaged, but self-harm would legit harm you even more if you already have mental health issues, and thats the point why it is against the tos, hence why they said this in this part:

At Roblox, we take our users’ well-being very seriously. We’re here to help provide resources for those struggling with mental health, and we may communicate with law enforcement regarding credible threats of self-harm. We don’t allow content or behavior that depicts, glorifies, or encourages suicide or self-injury, including:

To add on, especially if a kid who doesn’t know about killing themself, it may get to their head and they may mention it and other kids would know what it is and mentally affect them probably.

Adding onto that, a kid playing arsenal for example, might not care about the fact that some karen on the devforum is arguing what they are doing is inappropriate, when they are literally just eliminating players using either some goofy gun or an invisible ray.

While a kid might TRULY get traumatized if they were playing:

  1. A game where they are literally stabbing someone very violently, with some spicy, totally-not-realistically-gorey effect and corpses coming out.
  2. A game where they are literally seeing someone hung/stab themselves.

@DevGr8M8 It’s not inappropriate as long as it doesn’t contain blood.
