Right now your thumbnail looks like one of those Obby game thumbnails. Try going for a thumbnail that stands out.

And when you have a thumbnail saying “this game is awesome!” people are most likely not gonna play it, for “this game is awesome” reasons.

Overall, I think it is good quality compared to other obby games, but it is lacking a theme, and what can you do with the coins? You should consider a theme to make the player experience better. Also, thumbnail could be worked on a bit. Right now I don’t see any reason to play this over any other obby game.

So… your thumbnail could use some work. The game itself is alright, the building isn’t so good though. The spawn area has this eye destroying color contrast. I suggest you pick a color palette and stick to it. The content in-game is simple but nice, however, I feel it’s a bit lacking. It’s just a simple obby (from what I can tell, maybe I missed something). Maybe add a unique twist on it? What if every stage you did, your speed went up or your jumppower / gravity. Also, I don’t get the point of having walls around the obby if the void will kill you anyways.

I put walls around so you dont get confuse looking at other maps i made

I don’t think anyone would really get confused seeing distant obbys but alright lol

Yeah i know but i think it looks better just seeing the map your on

Assuming that you are a newer dev (really sorry if I am wrong), I think you did a good job. It is a great small project and it is fun. However, I do not advise wasting any money on advertising. It needs much more work before it is ready for the common crowd.

Suggestions:

  • Rebuild most of the stuff. I know this may take a while, but everything is really low detail. There is no common theme or color scheme. Try to focus on detail where necessary. Add scenery or props. But don’t overdo it. Obbies should remain simple yet good to look at.
  • Add coin funcitonality. The coins are simply in your inventory, with no use or purpose. Sure, they can be seen as trophy items, but players want to play games where they can buy stuff, or upgrade their player. Consider adding items or an inventory system. These could consist of various things, ranging from trails, particles, or even gears.
  • Renovate the user interface. It is very simple and not very pleasing to the eye. Some of your buttons had color schemes, while the frames they opened were plain white. Consider matching up the button and frames, or at least making a general theme to the UI, rather than randomly colored TextButtons.
  • Fix some parts of the maps. Whenever you spawn, there is some part in the main area you stand on. Not sure what it is, but it floated my character in the air until I walked off of it. Although this does not affect gameplay, it is unnecessary. Secondly, the coins are collidable. As there is a small delay between a touch event and the coin actually being removed, it appears to stop the players walking for a split second. Consider turning the CanCollide property to false.

Remember, I am telling you these thing to help you improve the game. I am not trying to hurt your feelings, I just am pointing out some of the things I noticed that could be slightly or heavily improved on.

Overall, the game has a good idea. If you make it originally built, fix up a few things, and find some better thumbnail art, I can see the game attracting some players. However, in its current state, I do not.

I hope these tips help you, and good luck in the future of your games and development.

Actually the coins are useful you can unlock portals, get on leaderboards and im going to add items to make you better for coins

I just mean add more stuff for the coins to purchase. As it stands now, there is very limited functionality of the coins. Consider adding in an inventory system with various items you can purchase from a shop.
