Is this Painting too Graphic for Roblox?

Edit2: Roblox appeals has responded and confirmed that I was appropriately punished and warned against future rule breaking. To be honest though, I’m scared going forward that anything could get me banned. I’ve replied back asking for clarification of what exactly was inappropriate. I was hoping they would’ve provided more insight in their initial response.

  1. What do you want to achieve? Adding a painting to game.

  2. What is the issue? Is it too graphic for Roblox?

  3. What solutions have you tried so far? Reviewed Roblox Terms of Service.

I am adding multiple public domain paintings to my game. The one in question is called, “The Nightmare” by Henry Fuseli. I think this would be ok but I want to be sure. Would this violate Roblox’s TOS?

person = appearing to be dead (But not necessarily dead), therefore roblox says “bad!”

They should be fine, though.

Honestly, its my first game. I didn’t want all my hard work get wiped over one mistake, so I asked. I’m also in a very rural area and the school around here deems this too sexual.

Oh, I thought they were sleeping. I’d contact Roblox support @xDarknessxFallsx to see if this will be allowed.

She is sleeping. This was an interpretation of a demon planting a nightmare into someone’s head.

In this case, you should be fine, though I’d still contact support to be sure 100%. Don’t want to lose hard work all because of a painting that Roblox took the wrong way.

I’m more interested in why this painting is going into your game lol.

(If its because its public domain, if your having issues you can always try to find another public domain one)

I’m currently building a very detailed asylum and this was one of the paintings displayed at the top of the grand stair case. Unfortunately, after I posted the question here, my account was moderated, so I can’t really share any photos.
