But now I wanna ask y’all, whaddya say, will it be worth playing? It’ll have 1-2 hours of gameplay and everything that a real horror game would need. Unlike some other cartoony games that pretend to be horror. (Not gonna give names. No hate to them tho, just saying that they’re not horror at all in my opinion.)
Oh, game will be out by 14 february or sooner, depending on how fast we’ll work. Game will have 4 chapters (or 6, depending how long we’ll make them) and the first 1-2 chapters will be free while the access to the rest will be 25R$ (we’re doing this as there aren’t any in game purchases, only this access.) So get ready to grab your friend and get in action.
I would love to play this! I know what you mean about there not being may “true” horror games on Roblox, and would definitely play this game because this is what Roblox needs more of. Plus its two-player, which is something extremely interesting for me. From the trailer you don’t give anything away, which makes me even more excited for the game. I’ll be looking for this for sure! Good luck!
I love teamwork, i love horror, but i can’t quite possibly be interested, atleast from what you’ve shown.
Infact, it is beyond my surprise that you have eventually planned a 1h30 long gameplay, but still cannot expose a single feature in the Trailer, it eventually tells us that you can build up a atmosphere…
but is that it?
It might be a understandable choice if the game itself is really looking apart others, trying to add the least spoilers possible and keep the secrets, but considering showing off buildings is what everyone does in their trailers, it just doesn’t seem there is something to expect… since there is nothing to begin with.
I’m eventually a bit worried about the gameplay cycle, the promising part is really the fact it is atleast a hour long, but might be very linear and therefore not replayable, so i assume it’s gonna play with several ending you can unlock according from your action, and of your teammate, which might end up being interesting.
Either way, i’ll say it again, despite the interesting “core”, this game right now only shows a map tour, and even so, it’s obviously not quite what makes something scary, it just reinforce the idea you’re in the unknown and no one is here to help you. my opinion won’t change until i see actual gameplay.
We’re trying to spoil as less gameplay as possible, there’ll be a 2 minute playthrough vid on release so people understand the mechanics and everything.
No, the thing is, most people won’t watch the videos (especially since it won’t be in-game), they are here to play directly when they discover the game.
For such a project, which require a rather good standard in social (due to most people not entering with a friend), must have the indication and a tutorial chapter in-game.
Oh, that is happening. The first chapter, the one with the “cliff hanger” ending will be the introduction to the story. Character learning, backstory, everything that’s needed so the players can get to know the mechanics and the story itself better.
Not gonna lie, I don’t think the kids of today really play horror games. The game looks nice, but it probably wouldn’t be appealing comparing to what kids play today (roleplay games based off the community)
I would play it and probably many other developers on this forum. I’m just not sure if that is the kind of game the main player base of roblox wants to play. Give it a shot though, you never know until you launch
This looks really great. I would say this will attract attention from roblox horror game youtubers while getting the attention of people who support them.
