Is this recoil system and amount good for roblox user base?

Hello, I am currently working on a project in a large scale map, shooter game with various weapons.

I designed the recoil, the recoil is mainly based on vertical bumps, and it has just a slight amount of horizontal recoil with random left and right movement. I have seen that this approach is generally not preferred in Roblox games, such as Arsenal and Rivals, where the main recoil is based on horizontal spread and it only has a little or no bump vertically.

I have a history of CS and Valorant mainly, and personally think that my approach is easy to get used to and feels good, but I don’t know if that would apply to Roblox user-base. I would appreciate your feedbacks on this.

A short demonstration video from my game’s recoil, showing 2 guns, HM has a lower vertical
and higher horizontal recoil amount. I controlled the recoils in some parts of the video, and showed them freely in another parts.

  • People won’t like it, Arsenal-Rivals type is better
  • The type of recoil is good, but needs a bit of change (Appreciate if you specify!)
  • Looks good enough!

Looks perfectly nice.
I personally like that recoil, probably the roblox user base will like it.

Tip: Make a poll. Helps clean things up

In my opinion the recoil looks choppy try making it smoother.

Okay I’ll try and send the result, thanks for the feedback

Guys, here is a revised version of the recoil, the recoil spring is dampened by %50 percent, from 40 to 60, I think it took most of the choppiness away.

In this second video, dampening is 80.

Let me know if you like it choppier, or the smooth version is good, should I increase dampening ffurther more or should I decrease it!

  • The old one is better
  • Dampening 60 is the best!
  • Dampening 80 is the best!
  • Should dampen more
  • Dampening is good but there is another problem (I would appreciate if you specify!))
