Hello,
I have a company building for my game where player’s can work called “Pear”. Such as the real life company “Apple”. Now this company is basically the same cause it sells electronics and stuff, but since the name is not the same I was wondering if this is legal and not bannable.
If someone can tell me that would be great!

This is perfectly fine as far as I know, given you don’t use their other copyrighted content such as logos

As long as you don’t use their logo, name, or product models, you can use the concept without any trouble. There are hundreds of tech companies.
My logo is a Pear which you can expect so that would be fine even if the company sells the same electronics like phones, tablets, laptops, PC’s etc?
Yeah, that’s protected under fair use.

Of course. Apple doesn’t have ownership over the whole electronics industry.

Even though they act like they do, they shall not.

There’s this type of thing called a “Pear Phone” in a show called iCarly which is supposed to be a reference to the “iPhone” but I don’t know if this concept has been copyrighted by Nickelodeon or not. You might want to look into this just in case, but I doubt anyone’s gonna care.
