Hey guys I’m working on a medieval fighting game and one of the weapons can behead people. So I was just wondering if I could get away with this or if I should tone it down a bit

The only part I’d suggest removing is the decapitate effect included with the weapon, other than it seems good considering the blood isn’t realistic it’s just cartoonish. You should also reduce the amount of blood coming out of the player.

Ngl, this is actually less brutal than that one gladiator game where you could see blood everywhere 
(And that RPO event in phantom forces everybody bathed 
absolute chaos)
Though I think its fine as it is honestly, many games have decapitation moments and blood gushing out and stuff though if you’re still questioning, just don’t add it at all.

Yes, I think you should remove the blood affect, it’s way too brutal for ROBLOX.
(In my opinion, it looks nice. But for the safety of your account, I suggest you tweak it so that it looks a little less brutal.)

This seems fine to me. There are games out there with way worse gore. Maybe just make blood spurt out of his neck for only like 3 seconds and then stop

This isn’t even remotely violent. I have seen Roblox games where they’d have dismembered bodies and guts strewn all over the place. This is pretty mild.

I’ve seen games on Roblox that have worse, I cannot specifically remember the exact ones, however I can assure I’ve seen some-what popular games.
However, I’d avoid doing this if you plan to have your game out on the xbox platform, as Roblox specifically displays a message against this when trying to enable the Xbox option, picture is shown below.

It does have blood in the game which Roblox state they dont really like in games, but the blood isn’t super realistic. One thing I would point out is the realistic seriousness of that weapon, its very detailed and it looks quite threatening, it seems like you have created a cool game though.
I think you are safe as long as you don’t have spinal cords showing, and from what you have shown already, it looks like cartoon violence. Perhaps to reinforce yourself, you could just add a silly pop noise to the effect.
