I’ve been thinking about an idea for a marketplace where users can upload sounds and earn in-game currency. Before I move forward, I want to check if this is okay. My main concern is whether my game or Roblox account could be moderated if a user uploads copyrighted sounds.
I’m also planning to add a warning that uploading copyrighted content could lead to the deletion of the user’s in-game account. Does anyone know if this would be enough to avoid issues? Any dvice would be appreciated!
Users upload a sound on this marketplace which users then can purchase the item. Basically a global marketplace where users purchase alarm sounds made by other users.
They upload the sound to Roblox, then list that sound ID in the marketplace with a set price, allowing users to purchase it and use it as their alarm sound in my game.
oh i understand. then yes that would be okay under TOS? other games do it for kill sounds and whatnot, so i dont see why you cant for an alarm/notify sound
They can upload a sound to Roblox and provide the sound ID, which I can then integrate into my game. I’ll set an in-game currency price so users can purchase and use it for their alarms.
