A lot of rumors have been going arround the undertale roblox community, worrying there games will be DCMA striked if it has undertale names/characters.
I own an undertale game and its starting to worry me.

Total copyright warning! Do not use character’s from under tale!! You can you them but have different names and textures for that character. For example, Sans would be something like Sam’s or lans. And maybe retexture and make some adjustments!

Unless a copyright owner explicitly says you can use their stuff, assume you can’t. Read up about copyright law if you’re unsure on anything.

not likely, there isn’t really any proof on it other than some random guy DMing someone.
Are we allowed to use undertale AUs? for example: Disbelief Papyrus, Fresh! Sans, TS! Underswap Papyrus, etc
Well, it really depends if you can rename them to something else. You could model and texture them differently. Though it could lead to problems, I recommend texturing them differently, and plus you should rename them to something else. You don’t want to get banned!
I dont think AUs are copyrighted?
Undertale by Toby Fox is fine, he chill, AUs are more risky, but they most likely can’t since most AUs have use of Undertale characters, too.

@ImTheBuildGuy @FusionFastX Im planning to use the soundtrack “Megalo Strike Back” in my game, im pretty sure its in Disbelief Papyrus Phase 2 (AU), and Chara would i be copyright striked?

the undertale au community is mostly chill, if theres nothing that says u cant use it, it should be fine. (don’t try things like that with companies like nintendo tho)

Unless there’s something that explicitly states whether or not it can be used under certain circumstances (e.g. CC Licenses), there is the possibility that a DMCA request could be issued. Otherwise, ensure that you obtain permission from the artist before using it.
Best luck to you! If Roblox doesn’t see this as a copyrighted artist, then they won’t show this as Content Deleted! though, you can find more audio in the audio library made by other users. This saves time and money!
