Hi, just wanted to clarify this is NOT a direct scripting tutorial, but more a shoutout to this Roblox feature which I believe is not getting the love, that it deserves.
Referral System
I feel like this Roblox feature has kind of flown under the radar, even though it’s incredibly useful.
Let me set the scene for you: you’ve recently decided to run ads for your super awesome tycoon game, and you’ve gotten some decent results. BUT, what if you could potentially get multiple players for every user who joins from that ad?
In a perfect world, a user would see your ad, join your game, and then invite a friend (or multiple friends). Each of those players would receive an in-game currency reward for bringing in new users. Since playing with friends typically increases the time players spend in-game, this could lead to a major boost in engagement, just from adding this one simple feature.
Sure, we don’t live in that perfect world… but you get the idea. This is a seriously underrated way to boost your game’s analytics and maximize the return on your ad investment.
