i made the island, the trees, the rock, and the house using block parts with stud surface. i used a meshpart with surfaceappearance to make the white-outline effect for the water. what’s your opinion on it?
Actually, It looks very cool!! It remembers me the old roblox
Ah it looks epic and its even more epic since I love studs
Edit: just realised the rock at the left of the pic looks kinda like a pyramid try to make it less perfect and more natural
I love this! Keep resurrecting the classic era!
Pretty sure this brings many memories.
Also, agree with this^
Looks great has a very nice feel to it!
For me its fantastic!I like studs! Its sad that studs deleted
By the way,i’m agree with TheSenorDuck!Rock really look like a pyramid
Studs are deleted? No they arent they just removed the menu but you can type this: workspace.Part.TopSurface = Enum.SurfaceType.Studs
in command bar to add studs or just use F3X to do it and incase roblox removes studs, theres a file in localrobloxfolder>platformcontent>pc>textures that has all stud types on it
Looks very cool, the surface appearance fits nicely!
Seriously?Oh!Im happy!Thank you,I’m think that studs deleted forever…thanks you!
Looks cool.
Try venture on more ideas as it seems pretty bland, the lighting is clean!
ye, you’re right. i didn’t realize it while making it xdxd
Thats a lot better than I could do!
I was wondering where they’d gone. Thank you so much!
This looks great and all, but I’m curious about this:
Did you use a plugin that transformed your builds into studs?
I think it looks pretty good but it could be improved if you disabled CastShadow
for all the parts.
Here is a script to do so easily: (run it in the command bar)
for i, v in pairs(workspace:GetDescendants()) do if v:IsA("Part") then v.CastShadow = false end end
i like the way it looks, with classic-styled builds and future lighting. i’ll try using it. thanks for the suggestion!
