So I’ve been working on a little project which allows you to purchase furniture and place it in your room. It has been a challenge trying to get the camera to work perfectly without any issues.
Here is a laggy gif:
There is also a custom chat:
I plan on developing this project further by adding features such as a trading system, cross-server events, purchasing multiple rooms, hangouts and so on. I am still trying to come up with possible ideas for a player to earn currency (jobs), if you know of any ideas, please tell me?
I really enjoyed ScriptOn’s Grand City of Robloxia, and decided to attempt a similar type of game.
Anyways, thanks for reading, if you have any feedback or suggestions to this, please share
I just increased the field of view and repositioned the camera. I added a toggle mode at the bottom right to allow for a better isometric experience. It still has many issues with it that I cannot find any solutions to.
Good luck on the game, it’s looking good! The only thing I’d change is the furniture store. You have the left side to select type, middle to select furniture, right side to Buy. I feel like it you combined this somehow to save space it’d make quickly flipping through and buying stuff more enjoyable.
It’s terrible I know (remind me to make this top priority for bug fixes ;)), I really wanna do something with textures and have custom wallpaper and flooring.
