They don’t have Kosovo, and Transnistria either.
I assume this isn’t a matter of recognition since Roblox recognized the sovereignty of Kosovo in 2024, by including it in as a Nation in Europe 2024.

I agree, it is not possible to verify your phone number from Venezuela either, this seems like a bug since I was previously able to verify my other account.

The N section is missing a multitude of countries including (word that is not allowed for racism and also country), Nigeria, etc

so alot of countries are missing and cannot phone verify

This is a pretty annoying problem for users to have.

It’s not listed in the API meaning it’s intentional: https://apis.roblox.com/phone-number-api/v1/phone-prefix-list

It’s a completely different situation if the API returned the data but doesn’t list it in the UI which isn’t the case here.

There are currently about 251 supported countries / regions on Roblox and they’ve added the feature to verify a phone number for 140 of those.

You technically shouldn’t even be able to access that prompt in the first place if you’re in a country that does not support phone verification like with the countries listed in this thread:

You can always make a feature request about it.

i have verified my phone number in the past and i still have mine verified right now on this account, it wasnt announced that support was stopped and if it was there wouldve been a post about this, unless youre suggesting somebody has maliciously removed it from the API and from the site without roblox knowing anything about it (not possible and not likely), then its a bug

and the thread you sent has a different problem, the prompt isnt visible, mine is and i was able to access it just fine and me and my friends were aswell, all of my friends have phone verified on their account (10+ people)

Can you try something for me if possible. If you make a new account, do you see the prompt to add a phone number for it? Assuming your account location says: Israel.

It’s likely that they retained the ability for you to change it since you already verified it in the past when the feature was available to verify phone numbers in Israel. They must’ve removed the ability to do so later on.

thats what i was trying to do, verify it on my alt, and it doesnt show it, on my main its still verified, the screenshot at the top of the post is from my alt

Verification worked fine for me a few years ago, we have no issue receiving overseas verification codes lol. 100% a bug.

@ltsRealJr @oSudden

My question to customer support: “Hey, do you know why users in Israel can’t verify their phone numbers anymore?”

Response:

The same response has been given to a user from Georgia who was previously able to verify their phone number on multiple accounts. They are also able to access the phone verification drop-down but can’t find Georgia from there anymore.

Therefore, this is not a bug but an intentional change due to current local laws and regulations.
